Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

CRITERIA

All applicants must:

- Attend high school in Mercer County, NJ, or Bucks County, PA

- Be a graduating high school senior entering a post-graduate institution

(four-year, two-year, community college or vocational school) in the year in which the scholarship application is submitted

- Financial need, academic achievement, commitment to community service and leadership are among the factors considered

AVAILABLE AWARDS

Scholarship checks will be written to the school or university on behalf of the scholarship recipient. Students may apply for the following scholarship:
- $1,500 award for excellence and leadership in ongoing volunteer work and commitment to the community and academic achievement

PROCEDURES

All applicants must:

- Understand that submitting an application is in no way a guarantee that a scholarship will be granted.

- Submit two letters of recommendations.  One of these should be from a school guidance counselor or teacher.  The second one should be from a supervisor at one of your ongoing volunteer activities. Letters of recommendations should be emailed to Michelle at michelle@alexanderswish.org.

- Be advised that only those applications received by May 15, 2025, will be considered. 

- Understand that Alexander’s Wish For Kids will not be involved with the distribution of funds other than payment to the recipient’s school.

- Be advised that all applications become the property of Alexander's Wish For Kids. All information will be treated in a professional manner. All decisions will be emailed by June 17, 2025.
